Short and steep for this peak. Took an old logging road directly across from parking spot. This gradually turned into a faint herdpath and then bushwhack through open woods. At approx the 1800 foot contour line veered towards pond to avoid ledgy areas. At this point picked up a what appeared to be a lightly used herdpath taking me to the summit marked with a large cairn.

Parked at the end of West Shore Road in a small lot. Alternatively parking down the road at public boat launch
