Notes
Trails were wet with areas of mud. Some standing water/puddles in the usual places. Aside from a couple very small patches of ice, the whole loop is snow and ice free! The ice on the lake is getting very dark and slushy looking. Its shouldn't last too much longer

Trails were wet with patchy snow and ice. Some muddy areas along with a few puddles in the flats. I was able to bare boot without issue. Only one stretch of continuous snow/ice on the Lakeview Trail above the stone chair viewpoint to the summit. Quarry Trail is mostly snow free except for a short stretch just above the pond. Unless we get another snow event, the remaining snow will be gone soon. Cloudy evening with temps in the lower 50s.

Slushy, snow covered trails this evening with a few bare patches. Some hidden ice especially on the Lakeview Trail. I wore spikes but were probably not necessary if using caution. Still full ice coverage on Winni. Nuce views this evening.

Was able to bareboot the loop, as the two snow/sleet events bonded to the underlying patchy ice well. Light traction may be a good idea as that snow melts to reveal the residual ice. Some extended stretches didn't appear to have any underlying ice. Sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 40s.

About 1-2 inches if new snow this morning. Snow was sticky and balling on my spikes making for slippery footing on the hidden ice below. Luckily there wasn't too much ice but coming down the Lakeview Trail was slower than usual. Views were nonexistent today due to weather. No other footprints out there.
