Trails Used

Mt Meader Trail

Trail Conditions

Dry Trail

Notes

Handsomely built small lending library a short distance in from the road. I was glad the switchback section was in the woods on this hot day.

Parking

Small shoulder, we were able to get off the road, room for 2-3 cars without blocking the trail entrance.

Water Crossings

None. Everything but a trickle Brickett Falls was a pretty area, water levels seemed low

Wildlife

None

Trails Used

Road Walk, Mount Meader Trail, Meader Ridge Trail, Baldface Circle Trail

Trail Conditions

Dry TrailWet TrailMud - Minor/Avoidable

Notes

Great Spring warmup loop. Weather and views were great. No major snow or ice issues, the only snow now is in the deep saddles on Meader Ridge but traction is definitely not needed on this loop. Honestly the pesky beech leaves were the challenge of the day, both with the ascent of the Meader knee and the descent down Baldface Circle.

Parking

Second at 6AM, half full with plenty of room for more by 11.

Water Crossings

All small crossings easy. Charles Brook on decent took a minute but flows aren't terribly high.

Wildlife

None, cool and breezy.
