Notes
On our way over to North Conway the GF, Miss Kaya and I decided to tag Mt. Willard for her 4th and Miss Kaya's 2nd 52 WAV peaks. The trail was crowded like usually for this time of the year. I swear this peak is as popular as Monadnock is and climbed almost as much (haha). Quite a few dogs on trail today as well. We got some decent views into Crawford Notch as well as Jackson, Webster, Willey Chocorua and his Sisters and Field. I finally went a tagged the true high point of Willard as well. On our way back to the outlook the skies opened up and it started to rain. It wasnt bad at first but .5 from the TH mother nature decided we weren't wet enough so she made it downpour on us. (HAHA) We were soaked when we got back to the car.Miss Kaya loved it though. All in all it was another great day to be out on the trails again.
Parking
Quite a few cars along the road but was still enough parking.
Water Crossings
All easy to rock hop
Wildlife
Not bad all but I did have to smack a few on the way up.

Notes
Great Day, Beautiful Hike. Easy, Total time 2 to 2 1/2 hours. A little effort for spectacular views.
Parking
The parking lot at the train station had a few parking spaces. Rt 302 had vehicles parked on both sides of the road. Not too crowded yet.
Wildlife
No bugs until you stopped or at the summit. You have to keep moving to avoid black flies. overall not too bad.

Trail Conditions
Notes
The trail is very moderate without any significant technical challenges. This was a conditioning hike after suffering a minor knee injury last fall. WE saw many types of hikers on the trail; young kids with their parents and a range of hikers with different abilities. The view is worth the short hike.
Parking
Parked at the Crawford Notch Station. There was about a dozen cars at 10:30am.
Water Crossings
1st water crossing was rock hop-able - no issues. @nd crossing was less significant.
Wildlife
No bugs!

Notes
The sun came out for a nice view from Willard, which somehow I’ve never hiked despite 300-something four thousand footers. Aside from one very short, very shallow, and very narrow section of monorail, the ice and snow were gone today. In their place was a river of water on the trail. The upper 2/3 of this hike are WET. Consistent water running down the trail wet. I was glad to have waterproof boots. People wearing sneakers, sandals (yes, one guy was wearing sandals….was interesting), etc. were having trouble staying dry. Awesome view. I can see why people love this hike so much.
Water Crossings
Easy to cross on rocks
Wildlife
Still in hell

Equipment
Notes
Trail is well packed down ice with 2-3" of new snow. On March 22 3-4 more inches of snow fell adding to the depth. Just about everyone wore micro spikes and that worked well since there was mostly hard ice under the snow. Trail quite busy on a Sat. Views at the summit popped in and out of the clouds and drifting snow. Carried up snowshoes, but they weren't needed.
Parking
Parking in Rt302
Water Crossings
Water crossing now rock hopable using poles to help balance on rocks.
