Notes
This was a run to assess my adopted section of the CRT between Baker Rd and 25A. Trail was a bit wet directly off of Baker Rd down to the first crossing of Jacob's Brook due to water draining from a culvert on Baker Rd and from the field that parallels the trail. Other sections were dry.
Parking
Parking for many cars on Baker Rd, and several on The Dame Hill Rd Lot.
Water Crossings
The second crossing of Jacob's Brook (going east to west) was high and the stepping stones were covered. A red spruce across the Brook slightly upstream allowed for safe and dry passage.
Wildlife
None this morning, but the black flies are starting to come out.
