Notes
I took the route others described, turning right on the Bean Brook landfill access road after a walk on the first overgrown road, soon turning left into a sandpit where the path was not obvious being so old and overgrown, but I picked up herd paths leading up toward Page Pond through decent hardwoods, then whacking through rather thick softwoods around the summit. After some tight squeezing the high point and jar were easy to find, with spectacular view ledges just beyond. I avoided some of the thick woods on the way back down, but out of curiosity decided to stay west of the spine and came out further up Bean Brook rd, this was not as good of a route as the way up, I should have joined back with the paths I took up. The trip was 5.3 miles, 1,077 ft and took me 2 hours and 18 minutes. It was a satisfying hike and another 500 down.
