Notes

I hadn't been on these trails since 2013 so this was a good refresher. Steep, steep, steep up to each summit but otherwise gentle/moderate. Great views over the valley from Cathedral Ledge and I had forgotten about the in-your-face view of the Moats from White Horse Ledge. I enjoy winter but I also enjoy the return of glorious ledge walking!

Parking

Outside the Echo Lake State Park gate; the park opens for the season on 5/2. This parking is very tight and should probably be expanded as vehicles grow larger and larger.

Wildlife

The black flies are starting to emerge.
