Trail Conditions
Notes
Increasing clouds in the afternoon with temperatures in the mid 50s. Trails are completely snow and ice free. Not much mud overall. From reading the trail log, since SLA has closed its trails, it appears a note has been left at the Rattlesnakes to let the public know they can still hike here. My first time here. All in, the hike to both peaks is about 3.1 miles round trip with roughly 550 feet of elevation gain. A great new option for a short, scenic hike in the Lakes Region—quiet, historic, and well worth a visit.
Parking
Parking lot looks like it can hold eight cars. I was the only vehicle when I arrived and a second car was parked when I finished.
Water Crossings
None.
